Where did Seita get her name?
At the breeder's place, this puppy's "working name" was Selma and I wanted a name that would be related to nature and mysticism, but wouldn't differ too much from the working name. Seita is a natural site and sacred place worshiped in Sámi ancient faith. The Sámi offered various natural products to the seitas such as meat, fish and blood, and hoped that the seitas would accept the gift and give success in return.
Seita is beautiful like her mother and strong like her father. Seita is not dominant at home, but outside the home it may growl if a strange dog gets too close. Otherwise, Seita is a peace-loving flower girl who likes to cuddle and be held, despite her size. Seita is energetic and loves running and soccer. Seita also likes driving a lot, and if she could, she would go every time, regardless of the destination.
Seita's father was already 10 years old when he naturally entered his last litter and is otherwise still a functional old gentleman. Long life could hopefully be expected for the descendants as well.
