Where did Valkyria get her name?
This female needed a strong and powerful name, something also a bit warlike and ominous.
In Scandinavian mythology, the Valkyries were battle spirits and death elves serving Odin, who took the souls of the bravest dead warriors to Valhalla. The Valkyries could also choose who was allowed to live and who died, which is why you can't treat these heroes of the battle not only with joy, but rather with mixed feelings of admiration, fear and respect, just like the Central Asian ovcharkas.
Valkyria is confident and independent, and a bit headstrong, but also so lovely to own family. She is a cheerful, brave and fearless, strong and powerful bitch, which also has some resourceful aggression. Due to the latter, Valkyria moved away from animal guard duties at the time of the first runs and has since performed excellently as a range guard. In the exhibition area, Valkuria behaves calmly and does not get stressed about new things.
Valkyria has had entropion removed from both eyes in early summer 2022.
